Behind the Gold: The Story of the Gilded Collection

Every collection has a beginning. Ours began with a quiet decision to let something go.
It started with letting go
Before there was gold, there was silver. The first thing we shared with you was a ring being buried in the earth. It wasn’t an ending. It was a beginning: you have to put down what you know before something new can grow.
Most of us carry a version of that silver ring. The old plan. The old story. The version of ourselves that kept us safe, but kept us small. Burying it is the hardest part, and the most important one.
What the ground teaches
Gold begins in the dark. Deep in the earth, out of sight, long before anyone sees it shine.
In 1858, people packed up everything they knew and headed toward the Colorado Rockies, chasing gold in mountains they had never seen (similar to my own story). They went on a promise they couldn’t verify. What they were really searching for was a chance. A chance at new growth
That is the feeling behind this collection. Not the shine, but the moment before it: the decision to begin again while the outcome is still unknown.
Why gold
For thousands of years, people have treasured gold. Not only for its beauty, but for what it stands for: warmth, light, lasting value. Gold doesn’t rust and it doesn’t fade. It keeps its glow.
That is why it has marked life’s biggest moments, from new beginnings to milestones. We wanted a collection that carried that meaning into everyday life. Not jewelry for someone else’s idea of an occasion, but jewelry for your moment: the day you decide to begin again.
The new you
To gild is to lay gold over something, so it catches the light. Your gild is the new you: the bold, glowing layer you choose to show the world.
Why not invest in yourself?
There is no good reason to wait. You don’t need permission, a perfect plan or a finished version of yourself to begin, and you never need to feel guilty for changing, growing or choosing yourself.
Sometimes the investment comes first and the confidence follows. A class, a move, a boundary, a hard conversation, a piece of jewelry you choose on purpose: each one is proof that you take yourself seriously, and that belief is what carries you toward your goals and dreams.
